Tuisian in the round Saints Hat

I made this for a friend of mine. I don't really care for the way it turned out. But, I'm going to try it again a little bit differently. I'm still learning how to crochet in the round with the tunisian double ended hook. Thanks for looking.

How did you decrease? Do you spread them out around the circle like you do increases in the round?

The first decrease round, you tss across 4 sts, then tss2tog twice. The next round you tss across 3 sts, then tss2tog twice. And so on until you tss2tog all the way around. Then you cast off/fasten off. I weaved in the tail end through the last round and pulled tight and tied it off to close the hole.
