Pricing question

Some of my co-workers have been hounding me to make them dishcloths. They received some as gifts and now want more & they are willing to buy them. What do you all think is a fair price for an average 8 inch square dishcloth?

I've seen them at craft fairs from about $1.50 up to $5 each.

 

It really depends on how much work goes into making it.

 

The formula is generally 3 or 4 times the price of the yarn. So if the skein costs $2, and you use half of one per dishcloth, multiply 1 times 3 or 4 for your price. That's just a general price suggestion that I've seen here.

I usually do $3 each or 2 for $5 depending on the style and they do pretty well at that price
