Midwest Fiber and Folk Fest

My daughter and I just returned from attending this. It isn't the best event for a crocheter who doesn't use animal fibers (and she is a knitter who is even more allergic to them) but we had fun anyway. She found jewelry she liked and I bought a couple of pretty, inexpensive shawl pins, so it was a success. They had rabbits for sale (and for cuddling!) and a couple of nervous alpacas, who should have been more appreciative of the air conditioning than they were. We met up with some members of her knitting group, so it was a nice way to spend a Saturday.

Glad to hear you had a good time. I was thinking of going, but it's so hot, and money is very short. I may go to Stitches Midwest in a few weeks.
