"Slouchy" Hat

 

Needs approx 2.5 oz worsted weight yarn (probably less)

N hook (9.00 mm)

K hook (6.50 mm)

I hook (5.50 mm)

 

ch 3 slst into third st from hook

work 6 dc into round

*dc in each stitch rep from * 3 times

*work 2 dc in each st rep from * 3 times

work 3 dc in each st

*dec every other st rep from * 2 times

switch to K hook *dec every other st in round rep from * as many times as needed until hat is slightly larger than desired size

switch to I hook *dc in each st in round rep from * 2 times

finish off

 

OPTIONAL:

with N hook

tie in accenting color of bouclé/eyelash yarn dc around edge

add pom pom to back
