Yep. I moved here right before I turned 13. she was my very best friend in the world. we were both heartbroken when I moved.

I did talk to him... he said that it could be fun! although, I think he is going to Las Vegas to visit my cousin this fall ...

If he wins big at the casino, maybe?! .

 

My sister and neice are thinking they would like to go back to New Orleans next year. they took a roadtrip in March, and LOVED it there!

I'm going to start saving my change for the trip. I doubt DH will go with me. He only likes to take vacation days for racing and hunting. Can you say, "REDNECK"!! And to be honest, it would be fun if it was just girls!

If you are thinking girls' trip, I will need to work on my sister (which probably won't take much), and DH for the fund-age! I have time... boy, that would be fun!

Last weekend, we gave him a nice dose of Frank Sinatra :lol THAT was funny! The Mr. of the house is around today, so it's been mysteriously quiet;)

seriously, though, I am not sure what's going on over there, but the police have our street in their watch lately... driving by a few times through the day and night.

speaking of which... next Sunday, we are going to see Bruce:clap I love seeing him! The energy at that show is incredible!

My music has to match my mood too!! Bruce....how exciting!! I want to go see Billy Joel and Elton John together, but they're not coming anywhere near here. I've seen Elton John. AMAZING! But I haven't seen Billy Joel. He's a family favorite. My sister knew all the words to Piano Man when she was 2!

That's too funny! You gotta love Billy Joel. I've seen him, but not Elton John. they were just here a couple of weeks ago... DH's cousin went. My best concert was Paul McCartney. DH tood me a few years ago for my birthday present. We were in the 5th row. He actually looked over and "thanked" me when I screamed "You've still got it!!!":blush Gosh, he's still dreamy!

Wow, what a great story! I've been to some great concerts, and right now I can't pick a favorite. Maybe New Kids on the Block???

No big plans. I'm gonna try to get some stuff done around here before we leave for vacation. We'll probably do some swimming, and playing, of course! There's not a whole lot of things around here for kids. I can't believe all the stuff that Stacy has around her. That's great! What about you?

we are just gonna chill 'n grill, and the kids (including DH) will play in the pool... george is here, so I hope I won't be doing very much besides laughing at all the "hoots" I live with!

We have a few places to go, but it's all very expensive. we are holding the budget for extra school clothes... you know, 2 girls in Middle School:lol

 

Thankfully, everyone is happy enjoying family time. Nice and simple;)
