Garter Belt Pattern?

Hey there. I'm searching for a garter belt pattern as a bridal shower gift... any sources? ideas? I have some elastic thread and some white bedspreadweight stuff... Maybe hold them together so it's stretchy? I'd appreciate any ideas you guys have!

they make a yarn that has a bit of lycra in it for stretch . i think its by cascade.. its about a sport weight i do believe.. as for a pattern .. i have seen one .. now i just have to remember where LOL .. will get back to you

Thanks you guys! I did find a pattern, at crochetpatterncentral of course. D'oh! Should have looked there first! The pattern is at http://www.freepatterns.com/fp_pdfs/Other/Crochet/Something_blue.pdfVery handy and easy to do, can be made for any size.

No problem, Elizabeth! I liked the idea of doing the whole thing, but the person I was making it for probably would not wear it! So just the garter for her.
