whats the crochetville-ghan

I see in some peoples siggys about the crochetville-ghan or something like this?

is there a CAL for it or something if so plz link me.. if its someting everyone is making one of i'd love to join in and add it to my whips

It is a request for squares of the size and colors listed. It is similar to the comfort ghans that are made in the charity posts only made of squares from our crochetville friends.

I am making a crochetville/friendship ghan too. I am collecting 8" squares for mine. I think a lot of us request squares thru the wishing well RAOK wish lists, holidays in July wish lists, and the Holiday wish list. I have received several very pretty squares so far and I am just collecting them until I have enough to join/make my ghan.
