Yarn winder help

Mine arrived in the post today yippee, but what I wanted to know is can I use it for thread as well or is there another one available for thread?

Depending on what type winder you have you can use it for thread too. I have but it can be a little bit trickier that yarn.

I use it all the time for thread. I buy the big football sized ball of thread and it's so much easier to take a little cake with me. Just be careful when you're winding that you don't get rug burn on your fingers.

Thanks, have just had a little play before I go to bed - another long day at work tomorrow - I love it , so much easier and quicker than doing it by hand
