Girls Crochet Headband

My mom gave my 7yo a package of Goody's headbands. They look like i could crochet them, but i cant seem to find the right pattern anywhere. Does anyone know where i could find one for it? Here is a picture I found online of a similar head band.

I'm getting together some Christmas projects I am about to start on. I will be going to the craft store this weekend and I want to buy everything at once if possible. My cousin is having a baby girl in February so I wanted to make a few headbands for her.

 

Also what type of yarn is used in making this kind of head band? Thanks so much for your input!

but you can look for a yarn that has elastic in it, to make a stretchy headband.

or you could use a ribbon yarn to crochet a headband then sew elastic thread into it.
