Poll What is your favorite Hook?

My favorite reply to this question is "I have never met a hook I didn't like" . Today my favorite is a vintage "Fashion Master" Boye. Last week it was a vintage Hero hook.

 

Next week who knows...maybe a lighted one, maybe bamboo, maybe....

 

To me the hook depends on the project and yarn being used.

I have one Bates hook and hate it because of the flat notch. I use Boye hooks, but have been looking at wooden ones...one of these days!

Depending what kind of yarn I am working with, it's either Susan Bates or Boye.

I had always used aluminum hooks since I first learned how to crochet 30-some years ago... THEN I discovered the Clover Soft Touch hooks a few years back and have used them exclusively ever since (unless a pattern calls for a larger size; the Clover stops at 'J' *grumble*). I also like the Clover Bamboo hooks. They have a wonderful feel to them and just keep getting better with use and age. I bought one for crochet, and also got some knitting needles, since I intend to learn knit now. Am I a glutton for punishment, or what?
