Magic Crochet

I made a nice haul at the thrift store today--three issues of Magic Crochet, from the eighties. I'm not really into thread crochet, but each issue has at least one motif that I want to try, and there's a gorgeous edging that's to die for. When I get around to them, I'll probably use a light weight yarn instead of thread.

Catana, I LOVE Magic Crochet. That really was a find. I subscribed for several years (also Decorative Crochet, it's sister magazine) and then let my subscription lapse. But I refer to those magazines often.

hehehe that's funny, I just picked up four Magic Crochet magazines at my base thrift shop yesterday! I'm not really into thread crochet yet either, but with the warmer weather I was looking for something to do that wouldn't cause me to sweat and thread seemed most logical. Of course, as soon as I decided that it got cold on me (I'm in southern Germany) so I'm looking at my yarns again already!
