Meet Dave

Has anyone seen the movie Meet Dave? Elizabeth Banks has the cutest multi-colored sweater/shirt/cardi on in the first part of the movie. I would love to be able to make something like that. Anyone have any ideas on where I can get a good picture to try to figure out that pattern?

I just saw it this weekend! I noticed it right away - it's a wonderful crocheted top. It looked like DC in the upper part, then shells that flare out in the lower part. You can kind of see it here in picture #8 but it's fuzzy because she's in the background.

This link is to one that is kind of a close up of the front, top half. Now I see that were were pearl buttons on the left side of the front, so I guess it could be buttoned up, but doubt it is really meant to be.

And, please, I'd love to do this vest, so any help would be great. Thanks to sewmom--I think she's right about the DC for the top, but maybe with a chain in between each DC? Take a look at these pics I found and let me know what you think.
