Bernat Haven ideas?

I saw Bernat Haven on sale at our Dollar Tree and was wondering if you have suggestions of patterns to use with this pretty yarn? I didn't buy any and want to wait until I figured out what I would do with it (I know check my forehead and see if I'm running a fever!!)

Check out the Patons website. you have to register for free, but they have pattern support for the yarn. I know there is at least one very pretty shawl. If I remember correctly its fuzzy and soft like Devine which makes fabulous beautiful cozy shawls

I got some of the Bernat Haven on sale at AC Moore 2 for $1. I made CroJulee Angel Wing Shawl pattern. It works up really quickly. I used a size K hook and just over 5 skeins to make the shawl. It is between a 2x and 3x. It is light and airy looking. But very warm like mohair. I will go look for the link for the pattern here at the ville as it is free.

I found this: http://www.bernat.com/newsletters/sep2006web.html#haven. It is an archived Bernat Newsletter from Sept 06 when they introduced the yarm. It has 3 free patterns on it.

 

I, too, saw it at the Dollar Tree and couldn't resist buying it. I think I will try a small blanket out of it for a friend who is having a baby.

My dollar tree had fun fur and disco..makes the most marvelous doll hair. I crochet chains the length I want and presto..doll locks.
