ok sorry for the bad thread for the messanger bag heres a better one:

medium sized yarn with medium crochet hook, chain 40, single crochet in every stich until bag is 18'' flip crocheted pice for bag it will be 13'' then flip the top pice for cover sew in your seams and knit 1cord OR chain 5 for strap as desigerd length
