Frogging and Sweaters?

I thought I would post this here because its along the same lines as the other question in this post (what to do when you get them), if its better elsewhere I apologize and ask if someone could move it to the appropriate place!

 

So I figured out what frogging is, and realized you can frog sweaters. But in one post it said to look out for serged seams and different sorts of patterns. If I were to go searching for sweaters to frog, what do I need to look out for? Are there any suggestions on what sort of sweaters are better then others? And lastly, where do I start ripping it apart, top, bottom, sides?

Right. That's the tutorial that's included in the crochetlab links. Very helpful, though I've found a lot of little things about frogging that it doesn't cover.

I always wondered also what frogging was, now I know. I often shop the second hand stores and find some very nice sweaters, so I will have to give this a try and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the info.
