fastnet Posted March 10, 2008 Report Share Posted March 10, 2008 The first-ever Martha's Vineyard Fiber Fest will take place at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury, Massachusetts on Saturday, April 18th, 2008, from 10 to 5. Spearheaded by Susan Gibbs of the Martha's Vineyard Fiber Farm, the show will feature shearing, spinning, knit and crochet demonstrations as well as a small trade show showcasing locally-made Martha's Vineyard products. Textile Travel is hosting a 3-day weekend house party to coincide with the Fiber Fest. Fiber lovers can explore the island, visit an alpaca farm, enjoy Sunday Brunch and a Trunk Show by ArtFelts, or simply sit around the fire and crochet with a glass of something.
