Felting Beads

Hi,

 

I'm just curious if anyone on here felts beads? I've tried my hand at it a few time, but I'm not too satisfied with the results. I'd love to hear any tips or techniques.

I haven't tried it myself. Like you I would love to hear from someone who does it..or better yet see some photos!

I felt beads. I just think it takes a little practice to get proficient at it, so don't give up. I found this tutorial that seems pretty good. I would take them very seriously about being gentle at first--too much pressure is a surefire way to ruin the beads.

A great tutorial. Thanks. I never thought of wet felting them. I just always needle felted them. This is way easier and less time consuming. Would you use the same technique for making cording?

ok, just tried it and it worked out great. And to answer my own question - YES, the same works for cording. I'll finish a project and post the results.
