Two late winter events in No. Cook County, Illinois

The Northern Illinois Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America is hosting a crochet buffet at the Rolling Meadows Library on Saturday afternoon, March 8. This event will highlight different styles and things you can do with crochet. The different items will be set up in stations around a conference room. While you're there - check out joining the guild - it's lots of fun and very educational!

 

Throughout the rest of February, all of March, and most of April, the Arlington Heights Historical Museum's Heritage Gallery will be presenting Pocketbook Anthropology. The NI Chapter of the CGOA will be providing some purses for the display, to show off the art of crochet. The exhibit is open Fri/Sat/Sun each weekend from 1:30 to 4:30.
