Blooming Tissues

I got the Crochet Pattern a Day calendar for Christmas and have fallen in love with the Blooming Tissues pattern. I have yet to try it because it requires a 3 lb. margarine container. I don't normally buy margarine in large containers like that. If anyone here buys the big margarine containers, could you please measure one for me so that I'll know it's dimensions and can maybe use my baby formula containers instead?

Hang on a second. I got one to cook with at Christmas...hmm, bad idea to pick up slippery tub of Blue Bonnet by the edge of the lid...there.

Lid:6 1/8" wide

Bottom: 4 9/16"

Top edge, without lid: 6"

Height, measured along side, 4 9/16" (without lid--with, it's 4 3/4".)
