Need techie help for crochet-related site

Hi all..

I have an idea for a crochet-related site (it does not conflict at all with C'Ville, so breathe easy... ) but am looking for someone to point me in a direction..

What I am looking for is a cheap host (I do mean cheap...), perhaps even free, that allows uploading of data files (text) that I can build code/query to do searches of the data fields to return results

I'm not looking for anything "souped up" as far as code. I know VB, so something along those lines.
