It's a rather tedious stitch. I received an extra pattern/instruction booklet with an order from Annie's Attic. Not sure I want to make any large projects with it. If anyone is interested in the extra booklet, pm me and arrange for postage reimbursement.

A Rice stitch is not a bullion stitch or a roll stitch.

(rice st: ch 4, keeping last loop of each st on hook 2 tr c in 4th st from hook, thread over and work off all loops at one time),

another example

rice st in 8th st from hook (rice st: keeping last loop of each st on hook, 3 trc in same space, thread over and pull through all loops at one time),

You have to pay attention to the particular pattern as the Rice stitch is not always the same in patterns.

These both came from the Celtwich site
