Selling on ebay

Hi!

 

I've been making up patterns for animals since this summer (07). I love stuffed animals, but I google each animal and make sure it hasn't already been crocheted. I do it by feel, and sometimes write down the pattern. I sold one at a craft show.

 

But since there are not consecutive craft shows to be found where I live. How do I sell them? I thought ebay would be a good idea. But I was curious if any of you had a good result with that? I've search on there, and I don't find many things crocheted or knitted.

(I'm at a lost, and fully understand not to sell them on here.)

Etsy is a nice place to sell patterns and finished items.

Let us know if you set up a store and what you are selling, the patterns sound interesting.

I was going to suggest etsy too. I've bought a few patterns from there. I don't make my own patterns though.

Are you wanting to sell finished products or patterns, I'm unclear...

 

You can also create a blog and do auctions on your blog and use paypal for payments.

In my experience ETSY is so much better for selling your handmade crafts, art and patterns. People on Ebay seem to just want a "bargain"... (Like offering me $5 for something that cost me $10+ for materials!)
