Question on starting a blog

I was wondering how to set up a blog and where is the best place to set one up for free? Can one put anything in their blog? Such as selling yarn?

I like Blogger a lot, too. I use them for my crochet blog, my family blog, my MOPs website... and even more, really.

 

I haven't sold anything on my blog, and for some reason I thought you couldn't, and I was going to tell you that. But I wanted to check what the "official" policy was at Blogger (like, it's ok to put links to it being sold (LuLu, Etsy, whatever) but not actually selling it), so I checked out their Terms of Service again, and then their Content Policy, and from my quick rereadthroughs, it looks like if you can legally sell it, you can have it on your blog.

 

Wherever you decide to host your blog, just read through the TOS to see what they say about selling/commerce in general.
