just a quick "hi" while at work

[COLOR=#9932cc]I'm working on another afghan, I know I know, I should be doing my squares, but this 'ghan is so purty!!! It's from the Afghans on the Double book, and it's a ripple which is simple enough, it's worked with two strands throughout, but when you're done you weave long lengths of yarn through the holes in the peaks and valleys. Well I am using two colors, peach and soft white, and my pattern is:[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#9932cc]4 rows of soft white[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#9932cc]2 rows of 1 strand of soft white and 1 strand of peach[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#9932cc]2 rows of peach[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#9932cc]2 rows of white and peach[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#9932cc]4 rows of soft white, repeat[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#9932cc]My aunt loves the oranges and I'm hoping she'll love this 'ghan! With two strands it's thick, but at least some of the heat can escape through the larger stitches (I'm using a P hook). I'll try to post a pic someday, but being on 7pm-7am this week doesn't give me much time... oh and just for the record, yes, I despise these hours!!!!![/COLOR]
