Donated blanket

For any crocheters out there who donate blankets to the hospitals for newborns, I just want to say a personal Thank you from our family. My niece, Jodie, just gave birth to a 4 pound baby who was the recipient of a crocheted blanket from an anonymous donor. When they arrived in the NICU to see the baby one day, she was covered with the most beautiful, hand crocheted pink blanket they had ever seen. Jodie and her Mom asked where the blanket came from, and the nurse said that they were just donated by some ladies in the County. My sister and her daughter said they just looked at each other and cried, because the blanket was so pretty. They were just so appreciative. So...to all out there who donate blankets, hats, etc. to NICU's ....thank you from our family. You are more appreciated than you'll ever know!

That is so wonderful to hear. I donate blankets and hats for newborns and preemies and i never hear anything else about them. I am so happy that they are appreciated. Thank you for posting this.
