Question
paculina
Not sure which one yet...but here's the deal.
I have a sweater pattern that calls for using a double strand of sport weight yarn. I don't want to use a double strand. I want to use a single strand of worsted weight yarn and it's throwing the gauge way off. (although I haven't tried it with an N hook yet...) So is there some way to change the gauge and still come up with the right size sweater? I'm making the sweater for a friend and I don't know her exact measurements, so I'm not sure how to do it.
