In its place is Caron’s Article CY1000 Craft and Rug Yarn.

This 100% acrylic craft & rug yarn is the perfect replacement for Aunt Lydia's. While it has the durability of Aunt Lydia's, it has the

softness of a 4-ply yarn for plush rugs and other crafting projects requiring a yarn that will withstand wear and tear.

The super-bright palette and workable texture will make it the new favorite for all yarn craft projects.

Thanks for the heads up about the new rug yarn! I hated the roughness of Aunt Lydia's, so it'll be great to have soft rug yarn.
