Creating a Blog

I don't know if this has been asked before. Can someone please tell me how I go about creating a blog? I'd like to get one started to share my thoughts and projects that I'm working on. I'm appreciative of any help that I can get.

There're a few sites out there that offer blogging space. I use Blogger which, I think, is quite simple to use. I know others have used Wordpress and liked it too.

I used blogger to set my own up, but I've sadly neglected it. I don't know how to add links and various things that I've seen on other people's blogs...so I've kinda left it.

I hope to start another one shortly, once I learn how to do it properly myself!

Are you using the new version of Blogger? If so, you can add links to your side bar by going to Template > Page Elements and just add a page element on the side. This may be helpful to you.

Thanks, Lis. I've created one on blogger. Have to iron out loose ends, but it's a start. Hopefully I can share one day when I figure everything out.
