Is there anyone on here from Oak Harbor or Whidbey Island, WA?

No, but I've always wanted to visit Whidbey Island. Seems to me that it would be paradise. I can see myself sitting in a wooden rocker with a fire in the fireplace and a beautiful view of the channel or the forest and blessed quiet while I crochet. I live in the foothills above Bakersfield in California. I moved from Southern California where it is pandemonia. My view is mostly Oak trees with pine for spice. We get maybe a foot of snow and about a month or so of heat in the summer. I've been crocheting many years. I also quilt and do stained glass. I am a Christian, so are my three dogs and three horses!!! What is the population on Whidbey Islland? I don't imagine you get either snow or heat. Well, write if you have a mind to.
