I agree with crochet hen. My grandmother's rule of thumb always was that if someone asked her to make them something she would offer to teach them how to make it themselves but would not do it herself as she had enough of her own projects already. I don't think she had anyone take her up on the offer.

Hello!

I don't think it is selfish. In fact I wouldn't make her anything. Gifts are from the heart and not a demand. Do what you think is best. I make gifts with love and since I am a perfectionist they are made with a lot of love!!!!

By they way what is RHSS yarn?
