Hand Made Items for Charities on ebay?

Ebay now has a new thing...you can choose to donate a % or all of your "winnings" from an auction to a charity. Has anyone done this with their crochet projects? I'm thinking of doing it with some baby blankets.....

 

 

Thoughts?

I noticed that just the other day myself! As a joke (at least *I* thought it was a joke), I looked up "door" on eBay the other day. (We're giving Caitlin her own room and she needs a door for it. She asked me if I could order the door, and I told her I didn't think we could GET a door on eBay. So I searched, and whaddya know? They have DOORS! ) One of the items was a charity auction, with 100% of their proceeds going to some charity (never heard of it before, don't remember what it was now).

 

I'd never seen it before, so I obviously don't have any suggestions, but I think it's a GREAT idea. I might have to see which charities you can do it for... Hmmm....

OK so I looked into it a bit further and you have to put your credit card on file so they can withdraw the winning funs???? That makes NO sense to me!
