3 Great New Books

I just picked up three great books at Half-Price Books. I got Blue Ribbon Crochet, 101 Easy Tunisian Stitches, and Teach Yourself Visually Crocheting.

My favorite is Blue Ribbon Crochet and I am thinking of doing Leopold Lion from the book for my son. If you don't have the book it's a stuffed lion and the entire lion is fringed. :eek Now I'm not a big fan of fringing but I just have to do this for my son! Anyone have any tips before I start. Also I might add that I am probably getting in way over my head as I have never done anything like this but what better a place to start!

Each of these books are really great. I am well on my way to learning Tunisian and have found out that I love the look of the Tunisian stitch. I plan on doing a graph ghan in this stitch because the color changes are so much cleaner. With these books I have plenty of good projects I just have to decide which ones. LOL
