Hi everyone, alot seem to like the sock trimmings i did so i thought id start a crochet along for them

Hi,

Finally found this thread. Seems awfully lonely in here. Maybe if you post the pics of the ones you made from the other thread. I liked yours. But, not too crazy about the ones on the links. I may have to come up with my own design. I picked up some really nice ankle socks at Walmart. they aremore of a dress sock material - thinner than the bobby socks type. with dressier colors: black, brick red, olive green and mauve. They are the shorter style, the anke part doesn't fold over. I think I may want to try something that just sticks out from the edge or goes upward to make them a bit longer.

I made myself some yesterday and am wearing them to work today. I'll try to get a pic up here in a few days. Got a digital camera for Christmas, I know how to get the pics into the computer, have to take time to figure out how to put them on the site.

I just did a bunch of these-including some w/ tiny jingle bells as Christmas gifts for DH's cousin's kids. I used Paton's Grace cotton, eyelash yarn and some thickish crochet cotton. Of course I wasn't on the ball enough to get pics. I'll join & get a head start on more gifts.
