Turkish slipper

I know this is not the right board but maybe someone can help me on here:eek2 Does any have the book simple crochet? I want to make the turkish slipper pattern but my feet are small. Can anyone tell me how to make them smaller? The pattern is for a 9 1/2.

I don't have that pattern, but I'd get some insoles your size, and use that to measure the bottom.

 

Some slipper patterns start from the heel to toe, others work from the center of the sole, then work in rnds.

Maybe using a smaller hook and a thinner yarn?
