Question
icrafttoomuch
okay, well, not exactly a pancake. im crocheting this tote bag off of marlos corner:
http://www.marloscrochetcorner.com/Crochet%20on%20the%20go%20bag.html
i made a few little adjustments, like using sc for the bottom, because im crocheting with a smaller hook and a single strand of worsted weight. then for the sides, i changed to hdc with the same hook and still using a single strand. on top of that, im making stripes, which i dont think makes much of a difference. however, instead of the sides sticking up straight, like a bag should, its seems like its just wandering off to the sides, so i wind up with a slightly curved boat shape. should i decrease on the corners or on the short sides? any other suggestions? i also have to get this bag done by wednesday, so i could use some of your ingenius suggestions asap!
thanks in advance!
