Felting Sturdiness vs. None

Hi everybody!

 

I know felting it supposed to make an item very sturdy. I'm assuming that if you don't felt an item - it will become saggy with use - example, if you crochet or knit a bag? Should you use a liner in non felted items?

 

any thoughts?

You can line them, but I have never had a problem with the fulled/felted items sagging.
