granny square help please..

I'm trying to make Bobby's 12in square and I need a little help..

On Rnd 2 it says 'Ch 3 dc in space' would that mean, Ch 3, dc in same space?

Hi Natalie,

 

I've worked this square before and you are right - it means double crochet in the same space, or the loop you made by making the ch2, hdc. (The half dc allows you to start in the middle of the loop.
