need help with pattern Teddy Bear/Bunny

Question

Hi!

I'm really new to reading patterns, and i'm having trouble with the following pattern:

http://mielkesfarm.com/teddy_pat.htm

I'm lost at the very second step! :think

If you don't join or turn around, how do you get to the next set of stitches? i don't understand how to move up if you do not join or turn. I know this has to be something simple that i havent learned or i'm totally missing, so please help.

I've never followed a pattern before, but i really wanted to make a teddy bear, and i thought i would try to give this pattern a try.

PS: If anyone's got a different pattern they would like to share, please do! :manyheart

Easy as pie. If you use a marker for the beginning of the round, as they suggest, you'll just jump to the first stitch after the marker for the first stitch of your next round.

Ah, okay, i think i get it....i'll go home tonight and see if i can get it to work! Thanks so much, I have some awesome yarn from "Sandstone Ranch" (http://www.sandstoneranch.com/bulky1.htm)

and i have just enough to make a mid-size teddy bear/bunny rabbit. I'll have to free-form the ears, but i really appreciate everyones help "reading" the pattern. I'm so dumb when it comes to patterns.
