Beautiful poncho destroyed in washer-salvageable?

Hi! This beautiful poncho was destroyed by the washing machine. I used gentle cycle and washed with two other gentle cycle items, and I believe the beads/zipper on the other items just destroyed this beautiful, vintage looking poncho. I made a mistake. I love everything about this poncho- from the earthy green and pink color choices to the variation in the yarn choices. I wanted to share some photos for memories sake. Is this at all salvageable?

What a shame.  I can't see how you can salvage this, there is just too much damage to it.  I destroyed one of my Mothers old lace tablecloth the exact same way.  I learnt my lesson also.  Now I wash everything by hand and lay flat to dry.

Sorry, I wish I could give some encouraging help on this.
