Any one made "hooded jacket" from ~Diane langan??

Has any one made the "cream Hooded Sweater Jacket" from Diane langan?

if so what size hook did you use, ive used a 5.50mm and it was a tad to small, ive just tried again with a 7.00mm and now its too big, i did a gauge and it was 8dc=3"

well mine was 9dc =3" help

i would rather it be a little to big than to small but this is way to big:think
