Changing colours

The pattern tells me to put last loop on stitch holder, do not end off mc. With rs facing attach cc and sc across, pull Main colour loop on stitch holder through to complete last sc, end off cc, turn. Does that mean as I’m sc with cc I pull mc through each sc along with cc?

no, I don't think it means that.

it says to put the last loop on a holder so that stitch stays "live" and you can come back to it.  you just leave the mc yarn hanging there.   attach your cc, do what it says---sc across with that yarn.    

after that point it seems confusingly written...are you working in the round, or flat?   we need more info in order to help figure it out.  please tell us the name of the pattern and where it is--the book or website where you found it.
