Granny Squares

I found this site on the internet that teaches you how to crochette. I ordered the video for granny squares and it was very easy to follow. I am going to make a baby blanket with one big granny square. I am unable to start a blanket with chain stitches and double crochette as when I add rows my first row gets very tight, therefore giving the blanket a weird shape. I decided that a granny square would do the trick
