Question
ocelotito
In first amigurumi I made, I wanted to embroider the mouth and brows. I tried several times unsuccessfully. I came up with a method that I haven't seen anywhere else, but it helps me a lot. I take some embroidery floss and a small hook and chain a very tight chain. Then I cover the chain with some stuff from Mod Podge called stiffy. I think regular mod podge or even elmer's glue would work. I let it dry. I end up with a thin but sturdy thread that can be easily shaped and easily glued on. And it hold really well.
