Granny Square Pixel Blanket

Hello,

 

I made my first blanket with granny square sewn together to make a pixel-looking pattern. I have sewn all of the squares together, but the problem is that there is all long pieces of string on the back that I don't know what to do with.

 

I am a very new crocheter and I appreciate your help.

You need to weave those ends into the squares. Use a tapestry needle and weave in at least a few inches of each yarn tail, going in different directions to lock the yarn in place. Then you can cut off the excess.
