Question
Sylvie Evergreen
I am trying to figure out what "skip over" means in the following round
12th round: Crochet 1 tr, 26 ch, skip over 26 tr, *1 tr, 3 ch, skip over 2 tr*, repeat from *-* a total of 14 times, 1 tr, 26 ch, skip 26 tr, *1 tr, 3 ch, skip 2 tr*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 48 tr.
Does it mean that I should chain 26 and skip over that many triple crochet, Or that I should chain 26 and then triple crochet 26? This is a jacket pattern that has been worked in the round up until this point. Which is meant to be binding off for arm holes. Here is a link to the pattern as a whole

It is a bit awkward to read but any help would be much appreciated.
