Question
Ecto04
A favorite elderly aunt made this baby afghan for my son when he was born. He's now 27, married, and still keeps this blanket on his bed. It went through college with him too. It has always been specially to him.
The blanket is starting to fall apart and isn't exactly yellow anymore. I will try to repair it, but ultimately would like to make a new one when he and his wife have their first baby. I've been trying to locate this pattern but the only thing I can think to search under is basketweave and this isn't the typical Fpdc/Bpdc basketweave pattern. Can anyone figure out how to duplicate this? My aunt and grandmother passed away years ago and they were always my crochet go-to people.
Thanks for any help!
Mary Beth
