Pattern Help Please

Loretta Ross

Question

I am making a hat with "human ears" improvised to look like the elf ears in Lord of the Rings.  The pattern for the human ear is for only one ear.  It says that you can reverse the stitches to make a matching ear for the opposite side of the head.  I have tried 5 times to come up with an ear that matches the first one made according to the pattern.  Can anybody transpose, edit, etc. the pattern to read for the opposite ear for me?  Thanks in advance.  Here is the link http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crochet-human-ear

Nevermind, somehow I managed to crochet one that looks pretty much identical to the left ear but for the right side of the hat. I think a crochet fairy stepped in while I was sleeping lol.  Maybe I will crochet another one the same way just to see if I really did figure it out or am hallucinating.
