Crochet Tunic

I'm doing the above pattern and I'm stuck at the shoulder part.

 

With Right Side facing, join B with sc in end of last row of 

edging to work across top edge of piece towards center of 

top edge.Sc in end of same row, 2 sc in end of each row 

of edging, sc in each ch and dc across last row of corner, 

turn—15 (19, 23, 27, 31, 35) sts

 

I'm quite good at reading patterns, but this is looking particularly like a foreign language. Can anybody help me with deciphering how to do this part of the pattern? I'm stumped.

Hi and welcome!  

 

Can you lay out the piece(s) so far and try to match that to the schematic.   the shoulder is the little rectangle above the corner and side edging, so first you  attach the yarn in the last stitch of the edging, then work into the row ends of the edging , then across the corner, until you have the right # of stitches.

 

At least that is how it looks to me based on the pattern and the schematic.
