Entrelac stitch count?

tiggyrn

Question

Hi!

I'm Sherry and I'm new to Crochetville.   I've watched 2 different people on Youtube trying to learn Entrelac pattern.   I've done pretty good so far doing the 7 stitches across and 5 rows up pattern.    I want to make bigger squares.   Is there a post here on the forum, a website or blog out there that tells what the stitch count should be for a bigger square?   Is there a formula I can do to figure it out myself?  Does anyone maybe know off the top of their head?

Thanks!!

Sherry

If you're talking about Tunesian entrelac - 7 stitches by 5 rows makes a perfect square.  If you want to make the square bigger, you just need to equally double, triple or however big you want the squares to be for the stitches and rows.  In other words - 14 stitches by 10 rows, 21 stitches by 15 rows = and so on.
