Help with a hobo bag

I'm having a hard time understanding row 3. For this pattern a bobble is yo draw through one 3x, yo & draw through both loops on hook. I can do the stitches I just don't understand when & where to put them.

Hi magiccrochetfan, the pattern is in the Must have handbags little book by Drew Emborsky. It's called the hobo tote. I'm having a hard time understanding from the star, it says work split fptr, skip next dc from last sc made, sc in next dc, work bobble, sc in next dc ; repeat across. In the first row I created 16 bubbles, 2nd row all dc across, I don't understand where to place my hook to do the split fptr.

I figured it out. I was reading too much into the pattern :-)
